I inaugurated the 11-foot statue of national leader Mr. V.O.C., who sacrificed himself for freedom and Swadeshi as his two eyes, in Rajapalayam.
On this occasion, Honorable Tamil Nadu Minister Mr. K.K.S.S.R. Ramachandran, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee General Secretary Mr. Paccheri C.R. Sundararajan, Rajapalayam Legislative Assembly Member Mr. S. Thangapandian, Vellalar Munnetra Kazhagam Youth State Secretary Mr. Pandal Raja, administrators of Veerakody Vellalar Uravinmura Sangam, and many community pioneers participated.
I congratulated the artist who realistically dressed up as Mr. V.O.C.! Long live his artistic vision!
